We are looking for an Operations Officer to join our BUX team based in Amsterdam.

In this role, you will provide key support to the Operations team on daily operational tasks and contribute to a wide variety of development projects.

Within our team of 6, you will be trained to gain a strong fundamental understanding of the financial industry, saving products, concepts and processes in a broad sense.

The ideal candidate is versatile, ambitious and a strong team player. Exposure to the financial services industry or experience with tools such as Excel, Python or SQL is considered a plus.

What you will do

• Monitor and process corporate actions such as dividends, stock splits, etc

• Manage and process internal payments and accounts

• Reconcile (align) trades, positions and cash balances

• Investigate and fix trade, position and cash breaks

• Provide trade support to the first line of defence

• Communicate and collaborate with cash, clearing and trading partners

• Communicate and collaborate with internal teams such as engineering, business intelligence, finance and customer support

• Design new processes and reporting procedures for the savings proposition

• Refine or automate daily operational processes

What you need to succeed

• You like working with others and helping the team succeed

• You have a sharp eye for detail and take pride in delivering accurate work

• You’re comfortable navigating Excel and managing data effectively

• You have experience with Python or SQL (a strong plus)

• You have previous experience working in the financial services industry (a strong plus)

• We value the energy of working together, so this role is mostly office-based (Amsterdam)
