Now, we’re looking for a talented SAP FI Specialist to help scale and automate our finance systems.

As an SAP FI Specialist, you'll play a key role in shaping and scaling SumUp’s finance systems—driving automation, ensuring compliance, and enabling accurate, timely financial reporting to support strategic decision-making.

In this role, you will:

• Automate and customize SAP FI to support finance operations like tax reporting, audits, and investor updates

• Support and improve end-of-month closings, electronic tax documents, and bank integrations

• Work closely with the Accounts Payable team to improve and QA our invoice processing solution (CLAP)

• Configure and maintain core finance processes in SAP: general ledger, AP/AR, treasury, and asset accounting

• Collaborate on the integration of a new treasury platform and help expand SAP implementation in new countries

• Analyze requirements, configure SAP, write technical specifications, and support quality assurance for new features

• Train finance users on SAP functionalities

You'll Be Great for This Position If:

• Experienced in SAP FI/CO, ideally as a consultant or specialist, with a strong grasp of financial system configuration and support.

• Well-versed in core finance processes such as month-end closing, tax reporting, auditing, and treasury operations.

  Comfortable navigating fast-paced and complex environments, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

• Known for a proactive mindset, a problem-solving attitude, and a strong sense of ownership.

• Brings both technical curiosity and business insight, and enjoys shaping solutions collaboratively with stakeholders, not just executing tasks.

• Fluent in English and confident working within a multicultural, international team.

Must-Have Skills:

• SAP FI/CO expertise

• Understanding of finance, tax, and reporting processes

• Strong MS Office skills

• Fluent written and spoken English

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Debugging or SAP development experience

• Database or SAP Analytics Cloud knowledge

• Familiarity with finance automation tools
