Job Description
Are you a student passionate about logistics? We are looking for a motivated Working Student to join our team and gain hands-on experience in the area of carrier payment and claims management. In this role, you will provide vital support to our operations, helping to ensure financial accuracy while learning to manage relationships with our logistics partners. This is a fantastic opportunity to apply your analytical skills in a real-world business environment.
The essence of your role
- Assist in the carrier payment process by supporting payment control, reconciliation, and the preparation of upload files.
- Support communication with our transport carriers regarding payment inquiries and assist in the follow-up of unpaid claims.
- Contribute to the monitoring and analysis of claim-related data and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Work alongside internal stakeholders, including carrier experts and procurement teams, to learn about process alignment and contribute to team tasks.
- Help ensure data accuracy by verifying claim information.
Qualifications
This is what you need to succeed
- You are enrolled in a bachelor's or master's program in a relevant field with a business or analytical focus, and are available to work 20 hours per week for at least the next 12 months.
- Good command of English (B2 level or higher); German language skills are a plus.
- Proficiency in Excel-based data analysis (pivot tables, lookups, data validation, etc.)
- A strong sense of self-organization and a detail-oriented approach to your work.
- A proactive and independent working style, with a willingness to learn and take ownership of your tasks.
