The Regional Clinical Sales Manager will play a critical role in supporting the commercial success of ONWARD Medical’s innovative neurorehabilitation technology across the U.S. West Coast. Acting as a clinical expert and field trainer, this role supports the sales team by providing high-level clinical education, conducting product demonstrations, product trainings, ongoing clinical support and building strong relationships with healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities
  • Support the sales team in driving adoption of ONWARD’s therapy by delivering impactful clinical training and product demonstrations to healthcare professionals.
  • Partner with Therapy Consultants to ensure seamless clinical onboarding and support for new customers.
  • Serve as the clinical liaison during evaluations, pilot programs, and post-sale onboarding.
  • Train physicians, therapists, and clinical staff on the appropriate use and integration of ONWARD’s technology into therapy pathways.
  • Participate in site visits to support live cases, troubleshoot usage, and build clinician confidence.
  • Assist with product presentations, clinical workshops, and customer meetings to reinforce therapy value and outcomes.
  • Maintain detailed records of clinical support activities, site readiness, and customer feedback in Salesforce.com.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to refine messaging, tools, and training materials.
  • Represent ONWARD at regional conferences, tradeshows, and events as a clinical expert and brand ambassador.
  • Monitor clinical trends, customer needs, and therapy outcomes to continuously improve the user experience.


Experience, Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree required; degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Nursing, or related clinical field strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a clinical support, field training, or sales support role in the medical device or rehabilitation space.
  • Experience with spinal cord injury (SCI), neuromodulation, neurorehabilitation, or DME preferred.
  • Strong presentation, teaching, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Comfortable working alongside sales teams and engaging with a range of healthcare professionals.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage travel and clinical support priorities independently.
  • Proficient in Salesforce or other CRM systems.
  • Flexible to work in a fast-paced, evolving commercial environment.
  • Travel requirements: Up to 60%, including overnight travel.
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.
  • Familiarity with HIPAA and healthcare compliance standards

Individual contributor role reporting to the National Clinical Manager, working in close alignment with the Therapy Consultant Team.
