We are looking for a 6-month intern available within the period of July 2026 to February 2027.

As a Mechanical Engineering Intern, you will:
- Assist in the development of the mechanics for our implantable and external neurostimulation platforms under to supervision and tutelage of senior engineering staff
- Gain design experience through independent and collaborative work, and build team skills by supporting larger development projects
- Develop test tools for characterisation and design verification
- Collaborate with engineers from other disciplines including electrical, firmware, human factors, systems/therapy development, and with other departments including quality assurance, clinical and regulatory affairs
- Investigate, prototype, and analyse new features, design options, and mechanical subassemblies
- Apply Design for Reliability & Manufacturing tools, including concept development, modelling & simulation, sensitivity/tolerance analysis, and stress analysis
- Work within a highly regulated environment, learning and applying design control methods, applicable standards, and technical and formal review processes
- Enrolled in an engineering degree program in mechanical engineering, materials science, or similar
- Demonstrated hands-on engineering skills through internships, student teams, and/or other extracurriculars
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
- Applicants must already hold a valid Swiss work/student permit or be eligible to work in Switzerland (Swiss or EU/EFTA citizenship)
