Onsite Product Specialist - China (m/f/d)
Your mission
We are seeking a highly skilled Onsite Product Specialist (m/f/d) to serve as the dedicated technical lead and strategic liaison for an NVision key account in China. Based full-time at the client’s facility for an initial 12-month assignment, you will manage the Preclinical Polaris system, translating complex physics into reliable diagnostic outputs. This multifaceted role requires a blend of technical engineering and key account management; upon successful completion of the initial phase, the position offers a pathway to support broader regional service operations. Responsibilities:
Systems Operations & Technical Mastery
Operational Excellence: Serve as the technical lead for our state-of-the-art polarizer, optimizing daily workflows and fostering a collaborative partnership between NVision and the client’s research and technical teams.
Agile Troubleshooting: Act as a high-level diagnostic expert, identifying and resolving complex mechanical and software challenges in real-time to keep critical operations running.
Technical Stewardship: Lead system maintenance and repairs, serving as the subject matter expert (SME) before collaborating with senior Engineering teams.
Training & Implementation
Launch Integration: Play a pivotal role in Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) at the client site, ensuring the new installation is calibrated for perfection from day one.
On-site Mentorship: Lead the technical onboarding and continuous training of the key account, bridging the gap between advanced technology and end user application.
Quality Control & NMR Validation
Performance Analytics: Drive long-term stability through sophisticated validation protocols, turning device performance metrics into actionable data for reproducible science.
Regulatory Leadership: Champion a culture of excellence by ensuring all onsite activities exceed industry regulations and safety standards.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
Product Evolution: Serve as the "Voice of the Field" for R&D and Engineering, directly influencing the next generation of hardware and software through your unique operational insights.
Your profile
- Master’s degree in Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Medical Physics, Analytical Chemistry, or a related field (Minimum)
PhD with significant hands-on experience in hyperpolarization and NMR technologies (Preferred).
Expertise in NMR spectroscopy, must be comfortable with the practical operation of NMR hardware (Preferred).
Direct experience with Hyperpolarization (HP) technologies (e.g., DNP, PHIP) (Preferred).
Fluency in English and Mandarin Chinese is required.
Strong pedagogical skills for training others and a "facilitator" mindset to help users navigate complex technology.
Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.
Proven ability to troubleshoot complex systems and manage customer relationships effectively.
Willingness to relocate to China for the duration of the project / customer agreement.
