- Full-time
Zürich
Join NEURA Robotics and take ownership of system-level testing and verification for 4NE-1, our humanoid robot. You will be responsible for ensuring that complex interactions between mechanics, actuators, software, controls, and embedded systems are thoroughly validated before release.
Unlike a traditional electrical or mechanical test role, this position focuses on the overall system behavior, reliability, robustness, and verification strategy of a humanoid robot. You will help establish and continuously improve our testing and quality control methodology, define scalable verification processes, and contribute to the development of internal testing frameworks and infrastructure.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building test systems, creating structured validation processes, and translating real-world robot usage into meaningful verification activities.
Your mission & challengesSystem Validation & Test Strategy
-
Own the overall verification and validation strategy for 4NE-1 across component, subsystem, and full-system levels
-
Define and maintain test plans, coverage, acceptance criteria, and release readiness processes
-
Derive test cases from system requirements and ensure traceability throughout the development lifecycle
-
Collaborate with mechanical, software, controls, autonomy, and safety teams to ensure comprehensive system validation
-
Provide objective release recommendations based on test evidence and risk assessments
Quality Control & Test Process Development
