Metzingen
You will support our ERP team as part of an internship in strategically integrating AI into our business application landscape — while also helping to make our reporting smarter and more data-driven. At NEURA, we don’t just build robots — we also leverage AI internally to improve processes and decision-making.
The internship is designed for a duration of at least 3 to 6 months and offers you the opportunity to actively contribute to real-world AI and ERP projects.
Your Responsibilities:AI Integration in Business Applications

Research, evaluate, and pilot AI models and AI services (e.g., Claude, Copilot extensions) within the context of our ERP and business application landscape

Support the integration of AI APIs into Business Central and other business applications

Contribute to the development of workflows and automations that embed AI capabilities into operational processes (Power Automate, REST APIs)

Document use cases, evaluation results, and integration opportunities
Reporting & Data Analysis

Build and further develop reports and dashboards based on Business Central data and other business applications

Support data modeling and preparation of KPIs for Finance, Procurement, Production, and Logistics

Contribute to the implementation of AI-powered reporting features (e.g., Q&A, Copilot in Power BI, automated insights)
ERP & Processes

Support the analysis and documentation of ERP processes

Test new features and configurations in Business Central
Must-have
-
Degree in Business Informatics, Information Systems, or a comparable field of study (minimum 3rd semester)

Basic understanding of ERP systems and core business processes

Genuine affinity for AI — you have actively used AI tools and want to understand how to meaningfully integrate them into systems

Structured and analytical way of working
Nice-to-have

Initial experience with AI APIs or AI services (e.g., Claude, OpenAI API, Copilot)

Knowledge of Power BI or comparable BI tools

Basic knowledge of SQL or data modeling

Experience with low-code/automation platforms (Power Automate, Power Platform)

Initial exposure to Microsoft Business Central, SAP, or comparable ERP systems
