Marketing & Events Working Student (m/f/d)

Run the event pipeline as your home base. Grow into asset prep, content QC, and marketing operations as our pipeline matures. AI is your default working partner from day one.

We're not another loud tech company shouting for attention, we're building tech that transforms everyday service experiences. At Miss Moneypenny Technologies, we've reimagined the mobile wallet card: a dynamic access point to the services people need, at the exact moment they need them. We're building a new category and a new service layer for customer success.

Backed by top-tier investors (Earlybird, b2venture) and growing faster than a dad joke at a Monday all-hands, we're hiring a Marketing & Events Working Student (m/f/d) who runs our event pipeline as a home base and grows into the wider marketing engine over time.

Why this role exists

We work internationally across the InsurTech industry, running 25 to 35 events per year, from boutique roundtables to large industry conferences. Events generate a steady stream of organiser correspondence, speaker coordination, logistics, and post-event work. That is the heart of this role, and where most of your time will go.

Beyond events, our broader marketing engine (LinkedIn, newsletter, sales enablement assets) is being built. As that engine matures over the year, the role grows with it: you take on asset-prep coordination with our designers, QC AI-drafted content before it goes out, and keep marketing operations clean. We are not asking you to be the writer or the strategist. We are asking you to be the person who makes sure the right thing reaches the right place at the right quality, on time.

What you'll do

The majority of your time goes to events: managing organiser correspondence, scheduling speaker prep calls, handling registrations and RSVPs, coordinating logistics, reviewing event materials produced by AI or freelancers, collecting post-event assets, and maintaining a clean comms tracker per event.

Alongside that, you work with our corporate designer and our UI/UX designer to brief them on visual assets for events and sales enablement, QC their output, format files for print, and keep an organised asset library. As our content pipeline matures, you review AI-drafted LinkedIn posts, newsletter drafts, and repurposed event content for tone, accuracy, and brand fit, then publish against a calendar. You QC AI-generated one-pagers, pitch deck updates, and leave-behinds before they go out. You keep marketing tasks updated in Asana and support brief-writing for freelancers.

What you bring

You write professional, confident English. Your written communication is one of your strongest tools, because correspondence with external stakeholders is a daily activity. You are organised by default: when scattered inputs land on your desk, your instinct is to structure them. You meet deadlines without being chased, and you catch the small thing that would otherwise fall through.

You are comfortable in a startup environment where priorities shift and processes are still forming. You raise ambiguity constructively rather than treat it as a blocker. You have run multiple parallel workstreams or stakeholders before. Basic design literacy (Canva, Figma) is a strong plus, enough to QC or lightly polish visual assets. Familiarity with LinkedIn content is welcome. Experience with project tools like Asana or Notion is a plus. German is welcome but not required.

How you work with AI

This role is built around AI as a core working tool. You use AI to draft, summarise, format, and review across events, content, and asset prep. You check what AI produces, because the quality bar is yours, not the model's. If you already use Claude, ChatGPT, or similar tools as part of how you get work done, you will feel at home here.

A note on the content side: our content pipeline is still being built. Your starting point is event operations and content QC. Over time, as the pipeline matures, you get more exposure to the creation side. We want to be transparent about this so you know what to expect from day one.

The superpower we hire for is reliability, structure, and clean follow-through, applied across events first, and across the wider marketing engine as the year unfolds.

Practical

Working Student, 15 to 20 hours per week. 6-month contract, with extension possible. Hybrid preferred, Berlin office around once per week. Fully remote considered for strong profiles. Start: as soon as possible. Language: English at near-native level (C1 to C2) is required.

Benefits

We're a diverse, ambitious, and value-driven team made up of problem-solving superheroes, software wizards, sales gods and goddesses, industry darlings, design aficionados, product visionaries, fitness fanatics, "Mafiosi" masters, and perhaps even a few mini-golf legends. We work incredibly hard but have a blast doing it, with plenty of laughter and humor along the way. In short: You'll definitely want to get to know us.

A job you can dance to like no one is watching.

But There's More:

With leading investors Earlybird and b2venture backing us, we're building something significant here. If you're looking for meaningful challenges and want to contribute to a forward-thinking, ambitious team, this role is for you.

We believe in meaningful work. Our team is passionate about pushing boundaries and delivering real value, and we celebrate our achievements together.

At the core of our culture are trust and open communication. We value diverse perspectives and know that collaboration drives success. There's no room for egos. Every voice matters, and every success is shared.

No politics! This is worth repeating: no politics!!!

We balance hard work with genuine enjoyment. Whether it's sharing a laugh, showing off quirky talents, or chilling on the rooftop, we embrace the lighter moments as much as the serious ones.

Above all, we are learners. We welcome challenges as opportunities for growth and are committed to supporting each other's development.

We Believe Diversity Makes Us Stronger

We actively encourage applicants from all backgrounds, identities, and experiences to apply, even if you don't tick every box. What matters most to us is your attitude, your drive to make things happen, and your desire to grow in a team that values trust, kindness, and clarity.
