As an Accounting Assistant (60-80%) at Ledgy, your mission will be to provide outstanding administrative support to the finance team. You will be a trusted partner to the finance team to ensure that day-to-day operations run smoothly and efficiently.
At Ledgy you will:
- Manage the company's accounts payable for invoices, credit cards, and reimbursements including receipt verification, reconciliation, and payment processing and ensuring payments are accurate and approved
- Be the in-house expert for our invoice management software Moss and manage the entire pre-accounting process including cost accounts, VAT, and cost centres
- Support our finance team in the monthly and year-end closing processes in close cooperation with external accounting firms
- Manage the pre-payroll accounting work to ensure our employees are paid accurately and on time
- Identify opportunities for process improvement within the accounting department and implement changes to increase efficiency and accuracy
- Proactively identify how to drive efficiency, improve communication, and support the operations team

- Have previous accounting and administrative experience, preferably supporting in a fast-paced, start up environment
- Are an analytical and structured person with a proactive and self-motivated attitude

- Have strong communication skills and are fluent in English and German
