Description

Flytrex is reshaping the future of delivery using autonomous drones. We are looking for a highly capable, versatile Part-Time HR Manager to take ownership of our local HR operations and staffing needs in the US. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR professional seeking a meaningful role with day-to-day flexibility.

Position Overview:

In this role, you will balance active recruitment and candidate interviewing with hands-on HR administration, data control, time-tracking oversight, and compliance. You will serve as the primary operational backbone for our US team's lifecycle, managing day-to-day workflows through our core HR platforms.

This is a part-time position with benefits, and with the opportunity to grow into a full-time role as the scope and needs of the business evolve.

Key Responsibilities:

  • End-to-End Recruitment & Interviewing: Lead the screening, scheduling, and active interviewing for operational and professional roles utilizing Comeet to maintain a strong talent pipeline.
  • Onboarding & Offboarding Controls: Facilitate the entire hiring process, manage background checks, and handle core employee data and lifecycle events within Vensure.
  • Time-Tracking & Attendance Audits: Oversee time-tracking and hours-control software, ensuring precise timesheet submissions, attendance tracking, and accurate data flow for payroll.
  • HR Administration & Compliance: Maintain audit-ready digital employee files and ensure compliance with state and federal labor laws.
  • Employee Point of Contact: Address day-to-day inquiries regarding company policies, onboarding steps, and general HR administrative matters.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a part-time position, Monday – Friday (Flexible morning/afternoon blocks).

Location: Hybrid (Texas).

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in a combined HR administration and active recruiting role (US market experience required).
  • Excellent interviewing skills, with a strong eye for people and good judgment, as well as strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with time-tracking, scheduling, or workforce management software.
  • Hands-on experience with Comeet (or similar ATS) and Vensure (or similar PEO/HRIS platforms) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of state and federal labor laws is highly preferred (Texas labor law is a major plus), with the ability to research questions independently and know when and whom to consult.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Proactive, sharp, and resourceful, with the ability to take ownership, work independently, and move things forward.
  • Reliable and accountable, with strong judgment and discretion.
