About the role:

Everlab's first Clinical Operations Manager dedicated to performance. This role owns the answer to a single question: how good is our clinical delivery right now, and how do we make it measurably better every week?

You'll run the performance loop end to end. Build the metrics that show the truth, find where quality is leaking, and drive the interventions that close the gap. Part analyst, part operator, part coach. There is no playbook handed to you. You write it.

We're looking for someone with 3+ years at a top-tier strategy consultancy or equivalent, who is genuinely analytics-minded and comfortable operating without a brief.

This is a full-time hybrid role based in Sydney. Our team works from the office three days per week.

Responsibilities and Scope

Doctor consult performance and clinical quality:

  • Own the performance of our doctor network end to end, including consult quality, clinical outcomes, appropriateness of recommendations, and the member experience inside every consult.

  • Build the machinery that makes clinical excellence repeatable: rubrics, benchmarks, spotlights, and playbooks drawn from our best consults.

  • Partner with the CMO, Clinical People Lead and clinical leadership to drive excellent clinical outcomes and member experience.

Clinical team workflows:

  • Map how clinical work actually flows today across consults, results review, member follow-up, escalations and admin, and find where time and quality are leaking.

  • Redesign the workflows that don't hold up: remove steps, automate what can be automated, and clearly document what remains.

  • Partner with Product and Engineering to translate workflow problems into tooling improvements, with a clear-eyed view of impact versus effort.

  • Run change properly. Pilot with a small group, measure the effect, then roll out with the training and communication that makes it stick.

Clinical operations metrics and reporting:

  • Build and own the metric layer for clinical operations: consult quality, clinical outcomes, utilisation, turnaround times, NPS, and cost to serve.

  • Define what good looks like by setting targets, thresholds and traffic lights, and hold the team to them.

  • Build the dashboards and reporting rhythms that give clinical leadership a clear read on performance every week, without anyone having to ask for it.

  • Turn analysis into decisions. Every metric should have an owner, a target, and an obvious next action attached to it.

What we're looking for:

  • Background: 3+ years at a top-tier strategy consultancy (McKinsey, Bain, BCG) or equivalent, with a track record of strong performance and rapid progression.

  • Proactive: You spot the problem, scope it, and bring a recommendation. You don't wait for a brief.

  • Analytical: You're comfortable in SQL and spreadsheets, you structure ambiguous problems cleanly, and you build arguments from data rather than instinct.

  • Bias for action: You're comfortable with ambiguity. This is a build role in a fast-moving company, not a reporting role in a mature one.

  • Communication: Clear and direct in writing and in person. You can compress a complex analysis into a one-page recommendation a busy clinician will actually read.

  • Range: You operate at both altitudes, helping set high-level strategy on Monday and sitting down to execute on Tuesday.

  • Mission: Deep alignment with Everlab's mission to build the world's most trusted preventive health company.

  • Nice to have: Operating experience in a high-growth startup or scale-up. Background or deep interest in healthcare, health tech or clinical services. Hands-on experience building a metrics or BI layer from scratch (BigQuery, Hex, Looker or similar).

Working at Everlab:

  • Do work that matters: We're building the future of preventive health. Use your skills to prevent disease, improve access to personalised care, and reduce pressure on the health system.

  • Work-life flexibility: Hybrid working with 3 days in the office, plus flexibility to manage life beyond the 9 to 5 when it matters.

  • Experience Everlab as a customer: Full access to the Everlab health program, provided after successfully passing probation.

  • Share in our success: Employee Share Option Plan included as part of your total remuneration. We grow together.

  • People you'll love working with: A welcoming, mission-driven team of smart, thoughtful people doing meaningful work.
