Product, Sales & Business Development

Sydney, NSW, Australia

Posted on Aug 26, 2026

This is a full time role is based in Sydney with hybrid working, 3 days a week in our office in Surry Hills.

This is a technical product role: you’ll write specs engineers build from without a translator, read a schema, challenge an API design, and understand why idempotency and reconciliation matter in payments. You won’t write production code, but you’ll be in Stripe dashboards and webhook logs most weeks.

Everlab is an Australian healthtech startup building the platform to look after people’s health for their entire lives. It’s not just an app, it’s the infrastructure connecting every available healthcare service to give you comprehensive data on your health and provide personalised care.

We’ve had a 23x increase in revenue since June 2025 and recently announced our $65m Series A round, making this an exciting time to join Everlab as we expand globally.

About the role

Everlab’s storefront is one “Pay now” button, and behind it sits some of the most interesting commerce engineering in health: an ongoing financial relationship with a person’s health rather than a one-off transaction. Every dollar has to know what it bought, so a charge ties back to the exact clinical product at the exact price the member agreed to, even years later when prices have changed, which is how we can always answer what a member has access to. The same purchase can also be cheaper five different ways at once, whether that’s a coupon, a corporate discount, a referral reward, a gift or a converted deposit, all stacking correctly and unwinding cleanly on refund, because a cart isn’t a price, it’s an equation.

Stripe moves the money, but everything that gives the money meaning is built here and it’s yours. You’ll own four surfaces: checkout and purchase, pricing and packaging, growth channels, and the internal tooling our commercial teams run on. We’re early enough that this role shapes the thing rather than maintains it, and there’s a bigger build coming beyond those four.

What You Will Do

  • Own checkout and purchase: every path from interested to paid, whether logged out, logged in, or soon mid-conversation with our chat assistant, all resolving to the same price, tax and discount logic so growth can experiment freely. The conversion of these flows is yours.

  • Own pricing, packaging and discounts: plans, add-ons, subscriptions, renewals, promotions, credit restricted to specific products, and the engine that resolves five discount sources into one correct number, built as configuration rather than code so a pricing experiment ships without an engineering ticket.

  • Build our growth channels: B2B billing, partnerships, referrals and gifting, all supporting the sales and marketing teams who depend on them.

  • Own internal tooling and integrations: the tools our sales and concierge teams work in, plus the wider sales and marketing tech stack, covering how we move data between systems, deliver cross-channel campaigns, and attribute which part of our funnel is driving results.

  • Design the accounting layer: behind one member-facing price, a blood panel might be fulfilled by any of several pathology vendors, each charging us differently, and whether a test bills to Medicare or privately is decided case by case by the ordering doctor. Vendor reconciliation, real per-product margin and insurance-aware pricing have no off-the-shelf answer, so you’ll design it.

What We’re Looking For

  • Payments and commerce infrastructure: you’ve shipped payments, billing or commerce infrastructure in subscriptions, marketplaces or fintech, and you can walk us through an edge case that bit you and what you built so it never bit again.

  • A number you owned publicly: you’ve carried a conversion or revenue target in the open, which means you’ve reported it, missed it, and explained it.

  • Specs engineers can build from: you’ve written a spec an engineer built from without a meeting to decode it, and we’d like you to bring one.

  • Experiments run end to end: you’ve designed and instrumented your own experiments and called the results honestly, including the losers.

  • You pull your own numbers: you don’t wait on someone else to tell you what happened, and SQL is not optional in this role.
