About the role:
As a Creative Strategist, you'll own the full creative loop, from insight to brief to live asset to learnings, for Everlab's paid social channels, primarily Meta. You make ads that convert. You think like a media buyer, write like a copywriter, brief like a creative director, and iterate like a scientist.
This role sits inside our Growth function, reporting into the Growth team. We move quickly, operate with high ownership, and expect every person to think in outcomes, not activities. We are an AI-first team. Every person in Growth is expected to use AI tools to work faster, experiment more, and produce higher quality output.
This is a full-time, hybrid role based in Sydney with 1 to 2 days per week in our Surry Hills office.
Responsibilities and scope:
End-to-end creative strategy for Meta: Own creative across Facebook and Instagram including static, carousel, video, UGC, and VSL formats.
Creative testing framework: Build and run a structured testing programme covering hooks, formats, angles and CTAs, with clear hypotheses and readable results.
Creative briefing: Write tight, directional, outcome-linked briefs for internal designers and external production partners.
Asset pipeline: Ensure we always have 10 to 15 fresh concepts in testing at any given time.
Performance analysis: Run weekly reads of CTR, hook rate, hold rate, thumb-stop and CPA, feeding insights directly into next-cycle briefs.
Cross-squad collaboration: Work closely with the Performance squad on audience segmentation and campaign structure so creative and targeting are built together.
Stay ahead of the meta: Track what's working in DTC health, longevity, and B2C wellness both locally and globally.
AI-powered iteration: Use AI to write and iterate copy variants at scale so every test cycle has real breadth across angles, not just two or three options.
What we are looking for:
Experience: 3 to 6 years in a creative strategy, performance creative, or DTC advertising role. You've owned creative output that's been measured against revenue, not just engagement.
Deep Meta platform fluency: You understand why the algorithm rewards certain creative structures and can build for it.
Production experience: You're comfortable briefing and managing UGC talent, video editors, and designers.
Data confidence: You pull your own Meta Ads Manager reports, build simple dashboards, and form a view. You don't wait for an analyst.
Bias to action: You don't wait for a brief. You bring creative angles unprompted, grounded in what the data is telling you. You can write a killer hook in 10 minutes and turn it into a test video on your phone in an hour.
Structured thinker: Your creative library is versioned, tagged, and easy to learn from. You treat the ads account like a product. Always live, always iterating.
(Nice to have) Health, wellness, or subscription B2C category experience: You've worked in regulated or considered-purchase categories before.
(Nice to have) Video editing or motion skills: Hands-on experience with CapCut, Premiere, or After Effects.
