At DeepL, we're embarking on an exciting new chapter: building our presence in Switzerland from the ground up. As we expand our operations to match our ambitious growth plans, we're creating a brand-new Sales team in Switzerland—and we want you to be part of this pioneering journey.
Our Sales team is a cornerstone of DeepL's market expansion and customer engagement strategy. In Switzerland, you'll have the unique opportunity to shape our market entry, establish our presence, and build something extraordinary from day one.
Our mission is clear: to build and develop high-performing sales teams that embody DeepL's innovative spirit and drive for excellence. As a founding member of our Switzerland Sales team, you will be at the forefront of driving our growth in this exciting new market. Working in close partnership with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams, you will collaborate to deliver tailored solutions that meet the needs of Swiss corporate clients (organisations of 500-5000 employees) while helping us establish DeepL as the go-to language solution and more in the region.
Your responsibilities
Pioneer DeepL's expansion into Switzerland by targeting corporate clients: You will be instrumental in establishing our presence and presenting our market-leading translation service to Swiss corporate organisations (500-5000 employees) to eliminate their language barriers
Become an ambassador for DeepL's products and an expert on Swiss corporate customers' needs in order to troubleshoot and rapidly resolve inquiries
As a trusted partner to potential new corporate business and incoming customers, you will qualify and convert leads from mid-market organisations and manage the entire sales cycle while helping shape our Switzerland go-to-market strategy
Strive to meet and exceed monthly activity, pipeline, and revenue goals as we build momentum in this new market by focusing on high-value corporate accounts
Build a pipeline of new corporate business from scratch, pursuing upselling and cross-selling opportunities as we grow our Swiss corporate customer base
Respond to a large volume of inbound corporate prospects and customers, managing a range of opportunities from qualification to close
Forecast and track all opportunity and customer details including use cases, purchase timeframes, and next steps, with particular focus on mid-market enterprise accounts
-
Work closely with our diverse, international and welcoming teams from SDR to Marketing, contributing insights from the Swiss corporate market to inform our expansion strategy
Qualities we look for
Experienced in Enterprise SaaS sales with strong knowledge of the Swiss market landscape and mid-market corporate sector
Proven track record selling into and expanding corporate accounts (organisations of 500-5000 employees) as well as selling emerging technologies and winning new logos in this segment
You are known for consistently overachieving against sales quotas, particularly in the mid-market enterprise space
Ability to collaborate with and orchestrate cross-functional teams to support corporate client needs
Entrepreneurial mindset: You thrive on the challenge of building something new and are excited by the opportunity to shape our Switzerland market entry within the corporate sector
You feel at home in a fast-paced start-up environment: you're able to shift priorities and adapt to dynamic situations while maintaining focus on corporate client acquisition
