Meet the team behind this journey
At DeepL, we're on an exciting adventure to expand our operations to match our ambitious growth plans. At the heart of this journey is our Sales Operations and Strategy team, a cornerstone of DeepL's market expansion, growth and operational strategy. We collaborate with many teams in DeepL, including finance, marketing, legal and sales as well as integrating across multiple systems such as Salesforce.com, Looker, Metabase and the Google suite of products. Our mission is to provide operational excellence and rigor in order for DeepL to meet its growth goals with a repeatable, sustainable and efficient approach.
Your responsibilities
Go to market planning / Operational Plans – co-design and implementation of sales coverage model, productivity targets, territory definition and account assignments
Drive and support transformation and change activities in programs/ projects across the regions
Active monitoring of the relevant KPIs and preparation of relevant analysis to support senior management decision making
Pipeline development and monitoring, identification of gaps & assessment of pipeline building programs
Coordination of Demand generation activities across the regions. Working with different stakeholders (Marketing, Customer, Sales) to drive the Regional Demand Generation plans to optimise pipeline impact and coverage. Integration of those plans and coordination through the Demand Generation boards
Preparation of presentations and management documents for the Leadership team, including preparing and presenting at quarterly business reviews
Support the yearly Budgeting and Planning process
Partner with People & Culture to monitor and drive seller performance initiatives (eg. compensation, development initiatives, training, etc)
Communication: be the conduit from central functional teams into the sales organisation, as well as be able to communicate the regional Sales POV back into these global teams, offering the critical priorities and areas of focus
Provide support when Sales Leaders are unavailable to attend calls, provide forecasts, deliver QBRs, etc.
Execute: define and execute the sales cadence to deliver the insights, forecasts, and outcomes of the business. Drive execution of key sales programs and regional initiatives
