Meet the team behind this journey

Our Product Marketing Team at DeepL plays a critical role in connecting product development, marketing, and revenue generation: our role combines elements of strategy, storytelling, and market analysis to drive the success and growth of our products. We are looking for a creative, analytical, collaborative product marketer to join our fast-growing team.

Please be advised that this is position is a one-year maternity cover.

As a Product Marketing Manager - Write, you will play a crucial role in defining and executing the go-to-market strategy for Write and other products. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of market dynamics, consumer behavior, and competitive landscapes. The ideal candidate will be adept at collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product development, sales, and customer success, to ensure the successful launch and ongoing promotion of our products.

Your responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market strategies plans that drive adoption and growth of DeepL Write and other products

• Craft clear and compelling product messaging and positioning that differentiates our solutions in the global market

• Act as a key partner to product, design and research teams in defining roadmaps, market sizes, and user needs and to ensure alignment and effective execution of marketing initiatives

• Work with product, revenue and marketing teams to align on a common go-to-market strategy.

• Partner with the sales enablement team to provide the sales team with the necessary tools and information to sell DeepL product(s) effectively. This includes training materials, product knowledge, and competitive analysis.

• Plan and execute product and feature launches to drive awareness and customer adoption across different geographies.

Qualities we look for

• Strong experience of marketing with some time spent focusing on product marketing, with technology and/or start-up experience

• Creative storyteller with excellent communication, presentation, organization and writing skills

• Growth mindset with a results-driven approach to work (testing, measuring, iterating)

• Collaborative mindset, and proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic workplace.

• Combination of strategic thinking and the ability to roll up sleeves and get things done
