About Cybus
Since 2015 Cybus’ Team has been steadily growing to over 30 people with the unifying mission to push innovation in the manufacturing industry. We are IoT experts, experienced programmers, marketing enthusiasts and overall experts in diverse domains, which enables us to empower factories to gain long-term independence from manufacturers and vendors.
What we do
In a nutshell: Cybus’ Industrial IoT software product Connectware is an on-premise solution that provides a communication layer enabling our customers in the manufacturing industry to connect their machines and make smart factories a reality.
For what? More efficiency, less energy and fewer emissions. (And also more digitalization and less paper)
About the role
Position and tasks
Mission: Independently build and manage the outbound pipeline for Cybus through systematic account-based prospecting targeting enterprise-level industrial companies in the DACH region and internationally.
Key objective: Deliver qualified outbound opportunities to the AE team on a monthly basis—complete with full account context, a stakeholder map, and identified buying triggers.
Focus: Account-Based Selling (ABS) instead of “spray and pray.” In-depth research, personalized multi-channel outreach, and long-term relationship building—you’ll build a pipeline with substance.
- Outbound Account Development: Independently identifying, prioritizing, and targeting enterprise accounts from the Cybus ICP (Manufacturing, Automotive, Chemical, Pharma, Food & Beverage)—systematically, not randomly.
- Multi-Channel Outreach & Sequencing: Designing and executing personalized outreach campaigns via LinkedIn, email, and phone. Account-Based Approach with Trigger-Based Personalization—no generic mass mailings.
- Pipeline Creation & Handoff: Qualifying outbound opportunities according to BANT/MEDDIC criteria and seamlessly handing them off to AEs with a complete business case and stakeholder context.
- Market Intelligence & Playbook Development: Identification of market trends, competitor signals, and buying triggers in target accounts. Active participation in building a scalable outbound playbook library.
- Activate Partner Ecosystem: Collaboration with the partner network (Tier 1 systems)
Your profile
Qualifications and skills
- 1–3 years of experience as an SDR, BDR, or in a similar outbound role in the B2B tech/SaaS sector—with a proven track record of success in enterprise outreach (scheduled meetings, generated pipeline).
- Outbound excellence: You’re not the type to rely on generic templates. You research, personalize, and know how to identify—and leverage—relevant buying triggers.
- Strategic mindset: You prioritize accounts based on potential, not gut feeling. BANT, MEDDIC, or similar qualification frameworks are tools for you, not buzzwords.
- Strong communication skills: Persuasive and precise—in writing and speaking, in German (C1/C2) and English (C1/C2). You write emails that get opened.
- Resilience & Ownership: You take a high degree of personal responsibility, approach the task in a structured way even after the fifth “no”—and learn quickly from every interaction.
Bonus points for:
- Experience with common sales tools, e.g., HubSpot and LinkedIn Sales Navigator
- Familiarity with manufacturing, Industry 4.0, or IIoT (including through studies or internships)
- Understanding of enterprise sales processes and long B2B sales cycles
- Experience with Account-Based Marketing (ABM) or intent data tools
- Additional languages (French, Spanish, Mandarin)
