🦸♀️ The Role of Sales Engineer
To support Chattermill’s rapid growth, Chattermill is seeking a highly motivated individual to join us as a Sales Engineer. The Sales Engineer will be part of Chattermill’s Revenue team, and will report to the VP of Solutions Consulting.
👉 What you'll be doing as Sales Engineer:
- Responsible for working on technical aspects of the Chattermill sales cycle.
- You will support Chattermill’s Revenue team in delivering technical trial /proof-of-concept environments, specifically by ensuring that data from prospects is set up seamlessly in the Chattermill platform, including integrating with APIs.
- Provide technical assistance needed for product implementation of a Chattermill trial implementation. This includes data acquisition, ETL, data modeling, and BI creation (reports and dashboards). Python and SQL required.
- Work closely with our Machine Learning Operations team to help build custom AI / NLP solutions
- You will also support Chattermill’s Revenue team in delivering demonstration environments.
- Provide feedback to the product, engineering, and operations teams at Chattermill.
- Work to streamline and develop automated processes for all data-related operations across Chattermill’s Revenue function
🧰 What you’ll need:
- Experience working with, and an interest in, working with data
- Experience using data integration and analysis methodologies and tools such as SQL, JavaScript, Python.
- An understanding and interest in working with APIs.
- Experience with cloud-based SaaS products, including Machine Learning / Natural Language Processing technologies if possible.
- A strong interest in the real-world applications of AI
- Problem solving skills, including the ability to meet a business requirement with a technical solution.
- Solution scoping abilities, and influencing new product development.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and listening skills.
- Great time management and project management skills: ability to manage multiple priorities and projects
- The Passion to work in a commercial team within a fast paced ‘startup’ environment.

Co-founded by Mikhail Dubov and Dmitry Isupov in 2015 while at Entrepreneur First, Chattermill was born out of their frustration that it took weeks, sometimes months, for customer research to yield any quality insights. Often, these would be out of date by the time they reached decision-makers. And it was also financially out of reach for most companies.
