Job Description
- Lead end-to-end product management for consumer products, from concept to commercialization.
- Conduct consumer insights and industry trend analysis to define product positioning, differentiation, and innovation plans.
- Manage R&D projects independently, including formulation design, testing, stability, safety, regulatory compliance, cost, and quality control.
- Oversee product lifecycle management: project planning, cross-functional coordination, risk management, milestone tracking, and post-launch evaluation.
- Communicate clearly in English with global and regional teams on technical and business issues.
- Summarize successful cases, learn from failures, and continuously improve R&D processes and decision-making.
- Maintain high aesthetic standards and a consumer-focused beauty mindset.
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials, Biology, Cosmetic Science, Food Science, or related fields.
- 3-5 years of relevant R&D or product management experience in beauty, personal care, or daily chemical industries, has rich experience on formulation of beauty care products.
- Proven success in managing complete projects and launching products; ability to learn from failures and improve continuously.
- Deep expertise in at least one category: hair care, body care, skin care, color cosmetics, fragrance, or home care.
- Strong skills in consumer insights, trend analysis, product definition, and project management. Outstanding expertise on Formulation
- Fluent in English (speaking, listening, reading, writing) for daily work and global communication.
- Excellent communication, influencing, problem-solving, logical thinking, and teamwork skills.
- High resilience under pressure, result-oriented, and strong critical thinking.
- Passion for the beauty industry and good aesthetic sense.
