Supplier Engagement Manager

  • Be the go-to on the ground contact for our supply base in your market(s). To our suppliers, you will be the face of Blacklane.
  • Manage and improve the supply quality and engagement from our external partners (professional chauffeurs) within your market(s) with support from a Senior or Lead Market Manager.
  • Engage closely with your local supply base. Offering them guidance on how to best improve their business with Blacklane and staying close to their concerns and suggestions on how we can improve the experience for them.
  • Develop strategies to make Blacklane the partner of choice for our supply partners based on your local knowledge of your market. This includes but isn’t limited to pricing on specific routes, preferred vehicle models in the market, operational complexities surrounding the transportation industry such as regulatory restrictions, etc.
  • Be the main contact for our partners in our Partner Support teams. Making sure that they have all relevant local information needed to properly support our supply partners.
  • When needed, you will handle escalated support issues from our supply partners that our support teams are not best-equipped to handle themselves.
  • Support the Senior or Lead Market Manager in operational tasks needed to effectively manage your market.


  • You are currently based in Brazil (Rio De Janeiro or São Paulo).
  • You have 3+ years relevant work experience.
  • You have a track record of working face to face with external suppliers.
  • You’re passionate about building a sense of community with suppliers.
  • You are convincing, personable, helpful & prefer to be out in the field rather than behind a desk.
  • You demonstrate a high degree of flexibility, team spirit, independence, and openness.
  • You have excellent organizational, communication & prioritization skills.
  • You demonstrate a personal commitment to Blacklane’s 5 core values: Break new ground, Be reliable, Go the extra mile, Act with integrity, and Care.
  • Fluency in Portuguese & English, Spanish speaking a plus.
