The Enterprise AI Challenge

While the market focuses on Generative AI prototypes, the true challenge for global enterprises lies in production and scale. Generic AI models often fail because they lack context and cannot securely access siloed enterprise data like ERPs, HRIS, or legacy systems.

LumApps AI is a high-velocity initiative focused on solving this "Last Mile Integration" problem. We are the bridge between our core platform and customer value. We don’t just license a platform; we deploy top engineering talent to the front lines to ensure AI becomes a secure, deeply integrated, and scalable force multiplier for the modern workforce.

As a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE), you are the "tip of the spear" for our most strategic initiative. You will solve hard technical truths on the ground, accelerating the adoption of our core AI technologies: Micro-Apps and Agents.

You will sit at the intersection of engineering and customer impact, navigating technical constraints to deploy live, ROI-generating AI Agents within rapid cycles. This is a rare opportunity to accelerate your career by working with senior leadership and opening doors toward future roles as an architect, tech lead, or product manager.

*Missions*

• Strategic Co-Innovation: Embed with customers to map complex data environments and identify high-friction business workflows, such as HR onboarding or IT support.

• Rapid Prototyping & Delivery: Build proof-of-concept AI Agents and integrations using public APIs, webhooks, and LLMs that plan, decide, and act within the LumApps ecosystem.

• Enterprise Integration: Architect the middleware and custom connectors required to bridge LumApps AI with systems like SAP, Workday, or ServiceNow.

• Field Feedback Loop: Act as the vanguard for our Core R&D team. You will identify systemic integration patterns in the field and contribute code (PRs) to harden and evolve our core platform, as well as abstract your custom solutions into scalable, repeatable "Industry Vertical Packs."

• Developer Evangelism: Create "plug-and-play" integration templates, code snippets, and technical articles to showcase best practices and enable our broader ecosystem.

What we look for in you

• Educational Background: A degree in Computer Science or Information Technology. We are excited to meet top graduates from leading institutions like ETH Zurich, Ecole Centrale Lyon or similar.

• Get-it-done Mindset: A strong bias for action and the ability to self-prioritize in ambiguous, fast-paced environments.

• Full-Stack Fluency: Proficiency in Node.js, TypeScript, Java or Python. You should be comfortable with frontend frameworks like React and backend API design.

• Innovation Curiosity: A passion for emerging tech, specifically Generative AI, RAG architecture, AI Frameworks and Agentic workflows.

• Communication: Full professional proficiency in English with the ability to translate complex technical challenges into clear business outcomes for customers.

• Availability to Travel: Willingness to travel (approximately 2 weeks per quarter) to innovate directly with customers on-site.

• Consultant Mindset: Experience working directly with customers, understanding their needs and designing high-value solutions to fulfill their expectations
