As an Engineering Manager, you will lead a team of brilliant minds, crafting technology that bridges ambition with action. Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing engineering team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Project Management: Oversee the planning and execution of engineering projects, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery in alignment with product goals.
• Technical Excellence: Ensure the implementation of robust engineering processes and best practices, maintaining high standards of technical output.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product, design, and other cross-functional teams to facilitate seamless execution of product initiatives.
• Resource Allocation: Manage resources effectively to meet project demands, including budgeting and scheduling.
• Hands-On Leadership – We appreciate someone who is willing to dive into code when necessary to help push key initiatives forward and support the team on deliverables.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance engineering performance and product quality.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor"s or Master"s degree in Engineering (Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field).
• 7+ years of experience in engineering, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role. Check out our Tech Radar to understand our Tech Stack.
• Proven experience in B2B SaaS, preferably in ESG/sustainability/fintech.
• Strong understanding of SaaS business models and key metrics.
• Excellent project management skills, with experience in planning and delivering engineering projects.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present technical information clearly.
• Experience in technical management delivery, including estimation, costing, pricing, and bid processes.
• Highly motivated and energetic, with a strategic vision.
• Commitment to innovation and best practices.
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and evolving environment.
• Sound judgment and decision-making capabilities.
  
  

Location

Strong preference for candidates to work from our Berlin office, spending 2-3 days per week on-site.
