We are seeking an experienced, motivated and detail-oriented Finance & Accounting Manager to built up our finance function as we scale rapidly. This role is ideal for someone with min. 2-3 years of experience in strategic finance & accounting with exceptional analytical skills and a strong commercial acumen.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of finance, including accounting, financial reporting, systems, budgeting, forecasting and tax planning
• Implement robust reporting structures and finance systems for internal monitoring and external investor reporting
• Develop and maintain overall operating, and financing model forecasts, including P&L, cash flow and balance sheets
• Develop accounting policies to standardize internal reporting of recurring revenue, ARR, EBITDA etc
• Implement best practices and financial processes to ensure smooth operations
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of all financial data and reporting
• Work closely and directly with the CEO to support company-wide strategic and operational initiatives
  
  

Requirements

• You have 2-3 years of experience in financial management and accounting, ideally as the first employee in this function in a B2B SaaS startup
• You have previous accounting & financial reporting experience
• You have experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and financial performance analysis
• You have a proven track record of implementing financial systems and processes
• You have previous experience with accounting & financial management tools, especially DATEV
• You have exceptional analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail
• You have a strong work ethic
• Being based in Berlin is a strong plus but not a mandatory requirement
  
  

Candidates must be fluent in English. Fluency in German is a strong plus.

Location

This role is Hybrid (2-3 days/week) based in Berlin. Due to the nature of the Operations department there is a need to centralise the role.
