This Scrum Master is responsible for delivering customer value through our software development process, taking steps to ensure the Development team and individual team members achieve success. As an Agile project manager, this role champions the project team serving as facilitator, coach and practice leader. The Scrum Master orchestrates our ensemble of product owners, developers, testers and other stakeholders to create a smooth flow of work and effectively deliver on our commitments for quality end-to-end software solutions.

This Scrum Master is responsible for delivering customer value through our software development process, taking steps to ensure the Development team and individual team members achieve success. As an Agile project manager, this role champions the project team serving as facilitator, coach and practice leader. The Scrum Master orchestrates our ensemble of product owners, developers, testers and other stakeholders to create a smooth flow of work and effectively deliver on our commitments for quality end-to-end software solutions.
Responsibilities
- Follow design & development processes to deliver on project needs: project plans, schedules, risk assessments & mitigations, resource allocation, and product functionality
- Lead daily stand-ups, scrum planning, sprint backlog prioritization, sprint execution, sprint reviews, and other project-related activities
- Lead offshore and onshore Agile software engineering teams
- Coach team members on Scrum principles and best practices
- Facilitate open discussion to identify and resolve issues proactively and via retrospectives
- Track and communicate progress against planned activities
- Collaborate with Product Managers, UX/UI Designers, Architects, Development and Software Quality to align activities and deliverables and ensure project success
- Drive improvements in Engineering processes per design controls for software as a medical device
- Experience with software development and management using Lean-Agile processes to drive product requirements, planning and execution within a regulated medical device environment
- Minimum experience: 10 years in software industry; 4 years as Scrum Master/Agile PM
- Experience leading globally distributed teams
- Track record of successfully delivering products under tight schedules
- Experience managing mobile and cloud-based application development is a plus
- Excellent written, oral, and visual communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
