1KOMMA5° was founded in July 2021 with the aim of making all buildings CO2 neutral. This is done through the use of photovoltaics, heat pumps and charging infrastructure in conjunction with intelligent and individual control of all systems in order to follow the particularly favorable price zones of sun and wind directly on the electricity exchange. This is implemented via the so-called "Heartbeat Platform". The software platform connects heat pumps, charging stations and power batteries directly to the electricity exchange and controls individual systems according to individual schedules. This means that the cheapest and cleanest electricity is always provided individually.
